We are honored to welcome Diana Robbins, LCSW, to The Helping Books® as our Head Therapist and Supervisory Leader—a transformative addition that brings depth, expertise, and heart to our mission of healing through bibliotherapy.

Diana is widely recognized as one of the most compassionate and effective therapists in the field. With a career spanning both public service and private practice, she brings extensive clinical experience working with children, families, veterans, and justice-involved individuals. Her work with the Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS), alongside her years in trauma-focused therapy, has equipped her with the skills to guide clients through some of life’s most complex and painful challenges.

Rooted in a trauma-informed and holistic framework, Diana’s approach integrates mind, body, and spirit. She is known for creating a safe, empowering space for healing—drawing on evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, while remaining intuitive and deeply client-centered. Her presence is steady, wise, and genuinely transformative.

As the therapeutic lead for The Helping Books®, Diana will oversee clinical development and contribute her insight to our expanding library of bibliotherapeutic workbooks. Her commitment to making mental health support more accessible and meaningful ensures that our publications are not only beautifully crafted—but also clinically sound.

A deeply versatile creator, LC has spent over three decades cultivating her craft as a professional artist. Her preferred medium is watercolor, though she also works fluently in oil painting and AI-assisted design, creating work that is both visually compelling and emotionally resonant. Her illustrations go beyond aesthetics—they are crafted with intention to support healing, growth, and connection.

In addition to her artistic accomplishments, LC is a therapist, writer, and lifelong advocate for children and families. Her personal and professional experiences—as a mother to a large family, a foster parent, and a clinical practitioner—inform every page she creates. LC has a unique ability to translate complex emotional experiences into accessible, compassionate tools that help readers of all ages navigate grief, trauma, and life transitions.

Through her work with The Helping Books®, LC serves as a lead contributor to both visual and literary development. Her art and writing are powerful tools of transformation—deeply human, intuitively guided, and clinically grounded.

This is more than just a marketing job—it’s a chance to help share stories that heal, educate, and empower. You'll be instrumental in helping us reach new audiences, secure funding, and build a recognizable brand grounded in compassion, equity, and emotional well-being.

🎯 In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement brand and content strategy across social, web, email, and print
     
  • Manage campaigns for book launches, fundraising, and awareness initiatives
     
  • Create meaningful storytelling that reflects our mission and amplifies our impact
     
  • Collaborate with designers, writers, therapists, and leadership to bring our vision to life
     
  • Analyze engagement and growth metrics to improve outreach and reach key goals
     
  • Oversee community engagement, partnerships, and digital presence
